Iben is a dome pendant light with a wide, shallow shade and a glossy lacquered finish over an iron body. It reads as one clear block of color from across the room, so it works as the accent in an otherwise calm space.

Which size?

• 45 cm (about 17.7"): for a two to four seat dining table or a compact kitchen island. Two side by side work well over a long bar.
• 60 cm (about 23.6"): the statement size, for a six seat table or the middle of an open-plan living and dining area.

Which color?

• Orange: a warm, honey orange that suits oak, walnut and warm neutrals.
• White: glossy white, the quietest choice, so the shape does the talking.
• Red: deep crimson for a room that can carry one strong color.

Light and bulb

The dome sends warm 3000K light down into a pool below the shade, which is ideal over a table. It takes a standard E26 bulb, and a warm-white LED bulb is included.

FAQ

How high should a dome pendant hang over a table? About 30 to 36 inches from the tabletop to the bottom of the shade.

Can it be the only light in a room? It is best as table lighting, since the light goes down rather than out. Pair it with wall or ceiling lights in a larger room.
